The per-site model
One site, one device, one price.
What a site includes
One pre-configured edge device shipped to the facility, unlimited test stands and channels behind it, and full access for that site’s engineers. Add a site, we ship another device — the subscription scales with facilities, not with data volume.
What we never meter
Tests, samples, curves, reports, and exports are never counted against you. Your lab should run more tests on AnvilTDM, not fewer.

How does the edge device install?
It arrives flashed and pre-configured for your workspace. Connect it to the test-lab network, power it, and enter the claim code shown on your Devices page. It makes outbound HTTPS connections only — no inbound ports, no VPN, no firewall change in most labs. It then discovers your configured DAQ endpoints (Modbus TCP, OPC UA, CSV/DBF drop folders, MQTT) and starts streaming. If the link drops, it buffers locally and back-fills when connectivity returns.
Who owns the test data?
You do, without qualification. Raw samples, reduced points, curves, reports, and quotes are yours; we are a processor. You can export everything — raw and reduced data, curve coefficients, and generated PDFs — at any time, on any plan.
How is our data isolated and secured?
Each customer gets a dedicated database schema — your data is structurally separated from every other tenant, not filtered by a query clause. Traffic is TLS end to end, device credentials are per-device tokens stored hashed and revocable from your dashboard, and user access is role-based (admin, engineer, viewer, portal).
How does single sign-on work?
Anvil Works supports Microsoft Entra ID. Your admin registers the AnvilTDM app in your Entra tenant and pastes the credentials into workspace settings; users then sign in with their normal Microsoft accounts. You choose whether SSO is optional alongside passwords or required for everyone.
What happens if we cancel?
Cancel from the billing page, effective at the end of the paid period. Your workspace switches to export-only mode for 90 days so you can pull a complete archive of your data; after that the schema is deleted. We provide a prepaid return label for the edge devices.
What counts as a site?
A physical test facility. One building with four test stands is one site; two plants in different cities are two sites. Each site gets its own edge device, and you can add or remove sites from the billing page as your footprint changes.
